Her Story
Mrs. McGinnis-Gorman was born in Santa Cruz. She was raised in Santa Cruz county and graduated from Aptos High School in 1984. She worked locally as an accountant and bookkeeper for many years.
She loved the ocean and was an avid race fan, regularly attending races at Watsonville Speedway.
She is survived by her husband, James F. Gorman of Santa Cruz; her daughters, newly born Mia Jenni Marie Gorman and Monica Victoria McGinnis, both of Santa Cruz; mother Phyllis Petrocelli of Aptos; father Frank McGinnis of Watsonville; and sister Barbara McGinnis of Santa Cruz.
