Who She Was

Her Story

Our magnificent, beautiful, and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, and loyal friend to so many, Allison Bree Senser passed away peacefully on March 2, 2016 with her heartbroken family by her side. Allison Bree Goldberg was born on December 17, 1980 in North Miami, FL.

She was a 1999 graduate of the University School and was the editor-in-chief of their yearbook. She completed her degree at Ithaca College in 2003 and immediately descended upon The Big Apple to pursue her career in Marketing. After stints at BET and Turner Broadcasting, Ali participated in the 2006 BirthRight program in Israel where she met her b’shert, Andy Senser.

An Ohioan from Mansfield, Andy and Ali began their new life together in the Buckeye State after their 2009 wedding in her hometown of Aventura. Andy’s family welcomed Ali immediately and the love and comfort that she felt was so very evident in every endeavor she chose. In 2015 Ali gained recognition for the Shem Tov Award from the Columbus Jewish Community. She was the Fundraising Chairperson for the upcoming 2016 Maccabi Games commencing on July 24, 2016 in Columbus.

In her way-too-short life Ali was loved by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her. She never met a stranger. Her beautiful daughters, Reese, Blake, and Jordyn remind us daily of her outstanding grace, character, and style. We are forever grateful to the Columbus and New Albany communities that helped to sustain us through this extremely difficult time.

Ali Bree we love you so very much and will never stop speaking, loving, and smiling as you truly were our Sunshine.
