Her Story
She was born on May 14th, 1997, to the late Bernard Harris and the late Mamie Lisa Griswold in Syracuse, NY where she was a lifelong resident.
Apreona was an enthusiastic vibrant young woman who attended Syracuse City Schools, she had a free spirt and aspirations of becoming an actor. She possessed many talents and was very creative. She had a heart of gold and loved to spread positivity amongst friends in family. She enjoyed movies, cooking, singing along with making people laugh.
Throughout her childhood she was a member of the Greater New Testament Missionary Baptist Church but later became a member of The Church House of Levites. She will be remembered for her faith and spirituality and her passion for helping others. She was a bright star in a big sky and will be deeply missed.
Apreona is survived by her oldest sister Alisha (Thomas) Carter. Three brothers Arien Mitchell, Bernard Harris Jr, and Marcell Harris. Two stepbrothers Angelo and Wilfred Roman. Her four children Cataleya, Lawrence, Rahianna, and Baby boy Harris. Grandparents Bernice McNeil and Roselyn Hector, guardians Sandra Wilkerson and Glenn-Ford Hector as well as a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
