Her Story
April Jean (Oles) Magdzas went home to heaven with her baby girls on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010. April was born on April 3, 1984, to Gene (Bud) Oles and Susan (Maslowski) Ulsby in Cloquet, Minn.
She graduated from Carlton High School in 2002 and continued her education at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, earning a degree in art therapy and graduating in the spring of 2010. April had been employed with Community Education and worked with residents who suffer from traumatic brain injuries. She had been hired by Duluth East High School, and looked forward to coaching the cheerleading squad this fall. April was a very loving mommy to her daughter, Lila Jean, and was looking forward to the birth of her second daughter, Annah Helen-Mae. She was a very loving daughter, sister and friend to many people who knew her and loved her deeply. April loved to knit (a gift that was handed down from her grandma) and sew and would make gifts for friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bernard and Helen Maslowski, and paternal grandparents, Leonard and Jennie Oles.
