Her Story
STAMPING GROUND – Ashley Renee Lyons, 18, Graves Road, Advanced Auto Parts employee and daughter of Buford S. and Carol Lawrence Lyons died along with her unborn son, Landon Abner Lyons, Wed. Jan. 7, 2004. A native of Scott County, she was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church, a 2003 Scott County High School graduate in which she was very active in the FFA Program. Survivors besides her parents include a sister, Candace (Jeremy) Mullins and a brother, Chris Lyons, both of Stamping Ground; a niece and nephew, Grace and Jonathan Mullins; grandparents: Dana Peak, Doug Lawrence, and Donald and Evelyn Lyons. Maternal great grandmother, Helen Rice and paternal great grandfather, J.B. Lyons, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends including her best friend, Bobbi Merriman.
