Her Story
Ashli Koren Johnson was born to Ginnie Williams (Brown) and Joe Johnson in Saint Paul, Minnesota on September 18, 1990. Ashli spent the majority of her young life as a Saint Paul resident and attended Arlington Senior High School.
Ashli is survived by her 4 children, Bruce, Karma, Nashaya and Naelani. Her siblings, Michael Jr (LA), Brittni (LA), Jocelyn (LA), Bryant (MN), Denise (MN), Marchello (MN), Mario & Labaisa (MS). As well as her parents Ginnie Williams and Joe Johnson.
Ashli was blessed to belong to an extended family and thus has a host of bonus relatives. She survives by her brothers Jarvis, Deonte, Tyler and Josh and father figure Charles Barr. She is preceded in death by her brother Rashad Walker.
Ashli lived her life in such a way that encouraged people to gravitate towards her. Because of this she will be leaving behind a host of friends, cousins, coworkers, teachers, nieces and nephews that will miss her dearly.
She was a very strong woman, who focused on making sure her children felt happy and loved no matter what challenges she faced. She was a helper, a healer and a hard worker. She spent her precious life on a mission of making sure her children, her siblings and their children maintained a close connection to each other.
Her light and radiant smile will shine forever through her beautiful and vibrant children.
