Her Story
Brittany McNew, 18, of Indianapolis, passed away on May 4, 2017. She was born on April 12, 1999 in Indianapolis, IN to Jennifer Lee and Robert McNew.
She attended Southport High School and loved playing softball at Indiana Central where they won a State Championship the last year she was there. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Brittany was looking forward to becoming a new mother to her unborn child.
Survivors include her loving parents, Jennifer and David Lee; siblings, Brian Jones, Brianna Jones and Nathan Lee; grandparents, James Jones and John Scrogham, Jr; aunts and uncles, Tony (Peggy) Jones, Steve (Julie) Jones, Shannon (Gary) Ebersole, Kenny (Tonya) Lee, Josh Barnd; great grandparents, Charles and Ann Nanny, Kathy and Kevin Poynter; cousins, Lorrie Jones, Daniel Jones, Michael Jones, Conley Jones, Anthony Jones, Kayla Jones and Dylan Jones.
Brittany is preceded in death by her grandmother Katreena Scrogham, uncle William C. Jones and great grandparents, William and Florence Jones.
