Candace was a 2012 graduate of Owen High School who enjoyed track, chorus and cheering when in high school. She was recently employed by TJ Maxx.
Candace was preceded in death by her paternal Grandfather, Bobby Pickens of Asheville, NC.
She is survived by her parents Keesha Martinez and Ricky Pickens; her son Zachaeus; siblings Quaran, Shekim, Brendon and Jadian Pickens; Maternal Grandparents Diane and William Logan (stepfather) of Swannanoa and Otto Logan of Asheville; Godparents Eugene and Candance Williams of Fayetteville, GA; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
