Courdeja Keshaune West, 18, Charlottesville, Virginia, died peacefully on Sunday, December 18, 2016, at University of Virginia Medical Center. Courdeja was born June 21, 1998, in Charlottesville, Virginia. Courdeja is the daughter of Chassity Blair and Shaun West of Charlottesville, Virginia.
Courdeja was preceded in death by her maternal great- grandparents, John Jr. and Mary Blair; her paternal-great grandparents, Carland Elnora Ragland and Eva West; also, a host of great, great, great aunts, uncles and cousins.
She graduated from Monticello High School in June 2016, and recently became a Certified Nursing Assistant from CATEC.
Courdeja is survived by her parents, Chassity Blair and Shaun West; son, Kesean Dajour Hannon Jr., and his father, Kesean Hannon Sr.; two sisters, Shauntavia O. and Jazelle West; two brothers, Trejon and Xavion West; maternal grandparents, Eugeneand Patricia Jones of Charlottesville; paternal grandparents, Wallace and Stella West; great-grandmother, Catherine Bonds; three aunts, Chevone Blair, Deetra West and Jenifer Allen; three uncles, Courtney Jones, Wallace West Jr., and Sarad Davenport; numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins, and many friends.
