Who She Was
Her Story
Liz’s family is heartbroken to share that Liz took her life on Saturday morning in Minneapolis while battling postpartum depression.
She is survived by her parents Will & Eileen, brother Gabe, husband Chris and their new baby, Louis. She was an incredibly thoughtful, tender, caring woman who had the tendency to ask more questions of those around her than she would seek to answer.
Liz worked with hiring teams within the Federal Government for many years, and was a valuable resource and partner to so many people during her career. A Minneapolis native, she was an avid football fan and Milwaukee Brewers fan, as required in their household. She was a passionate and critical admirer of films, most comfortable being side-by-side at a concert next to her husband, something they did often over the years. Liz was a gifted gardener, with a penchant for collecting unique plants both inside or outside of their home, and always on the lookout for unclaimed treasures to be found in antique or thrift stores. She took such joy in decorating and designing comfortable places within their home.
She was an irreplaceable fixture to so many families, and was taken from our lives too early.
She will be missed forever.
