Her Story
Jada Marie Upshaw, 26, of Bloomfield, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 4, 2024. Jada was born on December 8, 1997, and raised in Bloomfield, daughter of Kimberly Upshaw. In her earlier years, Jada attended The First Academy & Trinity Christian School, Carmen Arace Middle School, and graduated from Bloomfield High School, Class of 2016. Furthering her education, Jada attended Manchester Community College, aspiring to become a Cyber Security Agent, and was employed with Waste Management as a Customer Service Representative II. Jada was a member of The First Cathedral in Bloomfield, CT where Archbishop LeRoy Bailey, Jr. is the pastor.
Jada was a devoted mother, daughter, and dear friend. She was a very soft-spoken person but a confidant and mentor to many. Jada will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved her for her beautiful smile, wonderful sense of humor, and her love for others. Jada enjoyed traveling, dancing, shopping and attending church.
The passing of Jada will leave a permanent ache in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Jada leaves to celebrate her memory her beautiful baby girl Kalani Chanel Burrell (Jovanny Burrell); her beloved mother, Kimberly Upshaw of Bloomfield; grandparents, Jake and Edith Upshaw of Bloomfield; Godparents, Jerome and Teresa Williams of Bloomfield, and Teresa Michelle Sherrod-Deloach of Georgia, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other close relatives, friends and special friends Kaylen Powell & Diamond Markel.
