Who She Was
Her Story
Jennifer Ann (Berlin) Stepnak went to be with her Lord on July 19, after delivering her final wonderful gift Brianna Grace Stepnak. Jenni had the warmest heart, the most contagious laugh, a continually listening ear, and a special way of always seeing the good in people.
Jennifer was born on July 10, 1987 on her parents fifth wedding anniversary. Jenni grew up in Millington where she was very active in many activities such as softball, volleyball and was a member of Red Letter Edition. Jennifer went on to further her education at Grand Valley State University where she earned her BSN in May of 2010. While at GVSU Jenni was involved with Alternative Breaks where she spent her spring breaks helping underprivileged people across the world. Upon becoming a Registered Nurse Jenni went on helping people as a nurse working at St. Marys hospital in Grand Rapids and most recently at Aspirus Keweenaw hospital in Laurium, Michigan.
On May 7, 2016 Jennifer married the love of her life Michael Paul Stepnak they were the perfect couple, and brought out only the best in each other. Jenni and Mike resided in Hancock, Michigan. Jenni loved spending time with her family and friends, helping other people and her frisky puppy Bailey.
Jennifer is survived by her loving husband Michael, beautiful daughter Brianna, her parents Tim and Sherry Berlin, sister Jacki and Brian Northup with nieces and nephew Addy, Aubrey and Grayson, brother Matthew Berlin. Michaels parents Marvin and Victoria Stepnak, Joyce Stepnak and Rick Fibranz, sister-in-law Ann Marie Stepnak grandparents Bob and Pat Berlin, Sandy Becker, Domnick and Ann Ambroggio. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncle and cousins.
She was preceded in death by grandparents William Szabo, Stanley and Nellie Stepnak and cousin Evan Turner.
