Her Story
Kathy Taylor passed away on March 6, 2014 at UT Hospital after an extended battle with cancer. Kathy was born March 26, 1949 in Butler County, Morgantown, KY to parents R.E. & Ruth Clayton West. She leaves behind Dan Taylor, her loving and devoted husband of 41 years. She is survived by brother, Bob West & wife Jennifer of Evansville, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents. Kathy was of Baptist faith. She was a creative person working with stain glass, sewing and music. She was an organist at Niles Ferry Baptist Church for many years, and her hometown church, Morgantown Baptist Church. Kathy graduated from Western Kentucky University with a BS degree in Home Economics. She spent many hours volunteering and actively supporting children in the neighborhood.
