Who She Was
Her Story
“When you pick flowers from a garden, which ones do you pick first?”
Kimberly “Kimmi” Louise Davis, 28, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 28, 2020 due to complications arising from childbirth. Kimmi, born Feb. 14, 1992 was certainly one of the brightest, most beautiful flowers our garden has ever known. She had the kindest heart, so full of love. Even amid her own struggles, Kimmi was the beacon of support her friends and family needed.
Kim will be remembered for her larger-than-life personality and infectious smile. Customers described her as a people person and someone who was easy to talk to. Kimmi was hilarious and could make you laugh, HARD, and she loved even harder. Kimmi wanted the best for her children. She was most recently aspiring toward self-improvement and she was determined to make a fresh start. This determination could be seen most clearly in her passion for her children. She spent her last days decorating the Christmas tree and making gingerbread houses with her daughter, Calli. If you had the pleasure of knowing Kimmi, you know her proudest accomplishments in life were her three beautiful children. Her most recent joy came less than a week ago with the birth of her daughter Violet, the best Christmas present Kimmi and her family could have received. Following the delivery of Violet, Kimberly remarked to her mother that she had never been happier, nor more hopeful, about her life.
Kim is survived by her father, Dannie (Brenda Tenwalde) Davis III of Lima; mother, Pepper (Eric Foltz) Richardson of Milan; daughters, Calli Jean Clemons and Violet Leigh Mae Davis; brothers, Dannie (Jessica Sutherly) Davis IV, Deklen Davis, Koen Knouse, Corey (Rachel) Tenwalde, all of Lima; Josh (Katie) Foltz of Canton; Hunter Foltz of Jacksonville, NC; Sloan Mortensen of Norwalk; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Sandra Huster of Lima, and countless other cousins, nephews, nieces, and other loving family members.
Kim was reunited in heaven with her firstborn child, Chad Clemons IV and her paternal grandparents, Dannie and Violet Jean Davis, Jr.
The next time you pass a beautiful garden, we invite you to pause and point out the most vibrant of the flowers in memory of Kimberly, our vibrant angel.
