Her Story
LaToya Machon Jones, age 30, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at St. David’s Hospital in Austin, surrounded by family and friends. She was born on August 26,1985, in Austin Texas to Clarence Jr. (C. J.) and Gale Jones.
LaToya attended Mount Olive Baptist Church where she accepted and began her relationship with Jesus Christ at a early age. LaToya graduated from Round Rock High School in 2003 were she was an accomplished athlete. She choose to continue her education at Prairie View A&M graduating in 2007 with a B.A. in Business. There she was involved in dancing with the Get Fresh Crew and teaching aerobics. She worked for Dell Computers as a Federal Product Specialist and was recruited by Office Depot as a Territory Development Manager.
LaToya truly lived life to the fullest through traveling abroad in her quest to explore the world. She had simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family and spending time with her nephews. LaToya had an uncanny ability to reach people through her charismatic, joyful, and loving personality. And captured the love of her life, Tomaurz White (Tre) and through their union gave birth to a beautiful daughter Averie Elise. LaToya’s work ethic was indescribable as she excelled in all that she did.
She is survived by (daughter) Averie Elise, Tomaurz White (Tre), parents Clarence Jr (C. J.) and Gale Jones, (eldest sister) Brittany Wash and husband Ronnie(Ron) (nephews) JaVon Jones, Josiah Wash and Ronjai Wash, (younger brother) Clarence Jones III (Trey). She also leaves to cherish her memories her (Grandmothers) Ethel R. Sharp and Mildred Jones, (Grandfather) Levi Randolph Sr. and wife Betty, and a host of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and close friends. In addition her best friend Erica Daniels and husband Davon.
