Laura Rebekah Thompson, of River Ridge, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 at the age of 32.
Laura was a native of Colbert County and a member of Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church. She was a 2004 Deshler High School graduate and a UNA graduate. She started her career working in nutrition in the Vitamin Shop and later became an insurance adjuster helping many lives that had been affected by disaster. Laura was very involved in sports including golfing, skiing and bungie jumping. She enjoyed arts such as painting and crafting. Laura had an outgoing personality and lived life to the fullest. She was always positive about people never saying anything bad about anyone. She deeply loved her niece and nephews.
She is survived by her loving fiancé, Chad Stephen Laborde; parents, Michael J. and Sandra Hacker Thompson; daughter, Kaylee Jane Laborde; brother, Randal Matthew Thompson and wife, Emily, nephews, Nicolas and Connor and niece, Natalie; grandfather, Carl G. Thompson; grandmother, Betty Hacker; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
