Her Story
Lindsay Crump Perez, 35, Stucky Middle School Drama teacher, died October 8, 2015, from complications after giving birth to her first child. She and her husband, Edgar Perez-Valverde, were anxiously awaiting the arrival of their son, Zander Nicolas Perez, who, despite being a month early, is a healthy little boy.
Lindsay was loved by her students whom she treated as her own children and left lasting impressions on them as they moved to high school and beyond.
Lindsay is survived by husband, Edgar; son, Zander; niece, Marina Banuelos of the home; mother, Patricia Cahill of Kansas City; father, Randy Crump of Wichita; sister, Jessica Ford (Brad) and her beloved niece and nephew, Charlotte and Jackson, of Kansas City; brother, Spencer Crump of Wichita; and numerous dear friends.
