She was employed at Tyson Foods, Columbus Junction. She enjoyed playing Bingo, listening to Mexican music and spending time with her friends and family.
Survivors include a daughter, Eliana Carmona; her mother, Gloria Ramirez of Mount Pleasant; her father,Efrain Carmona of Mexico City; her maternal grandmother, Margie Carmona of Muscatine; three brothers, Andrew Carmona, Joey Salazar and Julian Salazar, all of Muscatine; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jesus Salazara Sr.
