Her Story
It is with great sadness that we report the tragic loss of Nicole and Amelia Ruddy, who was killed in a drunk driving accident on January 22nd, 2023. Nicole, who was 33 years old, was 35 weeks pregnant with her daughter Amelia at the time of the accident. Emergency workers attempted to revive Nicole and her daughter but they both succumbed to their injuries.
They are united in heaven as mother and daughter never to be separated again.
Nicole was known as a loving, compassionate, kind person, who touched the lives of many people. Her laugh was infectious and her never give up attitude was contagious. Nicole frequently volunteered at her church and ran a small business as a wedding planner helping create memorable weddings for couples around the country.
Her husband Andrew was also in the vehicle at the time of the accident and suffered major injuries. Andrew will have to undergo surgery to repair his injuries. We stand together in support of him in the time of tragey. This memorial fund is to raise money for the family and to support Andrew’s medical bills as well as any other unexpected costs during this difficult time, all funds will be going directly to Andrew Ruddy.
