Whitney Evon Minor Henriquez, passed away suddenly, February 8, 2018, at the age of 31.
She was born April 20, 1986 in Saginaw, Michigan to parents Ed and Kim Minor. After moving to McHenry when she was 2, she was blessed with her sister and best friend, Courtney.
Whitney graduated from McHenry West High School in 2004. In 2008 she received her BSN and Spanish Major from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. While on a college trip to the Dominican Republic in 2007 she met the love of her life, Jhon, they were married on April 8, 2010. Whitney worked for Centegra Woodstock Memorial Hospital as a Labor & Delivery Nurse until 2014 while working towards her CNM Masters Degree from Frontier School of Nursing. She graduated and joined the staff at Rockford Memorial Hospital as a CNM Provider in 2014.
In December 2017, Whitney and Jhon started a new adventure moving to Charlotte, NC with a new CNM opportunity at the birthing center at Carolinas Health Care.
On February 8, 2018 Whitney delivered their beautiful son Grayson Jhonatan Henriquez Minor in an emergency C-Section. Hours after the C-Section Whitney sadly passed leaving behind Husband Jhon, Baby Grayson and loving family & many friends.
