Her Story
On Thursday, March 16, 2006, the Lord took Rocio Escalante home. Rocio passed away at Rapid City Regional Hospital surrounded by family and friends.
Rocio is survived by her husband, Hugo Escalante and her five daughters, Arisbet, Yolanda, Sabrina, Roxanna and Maria Rocio, who was born on March 15, 2006.
Rocio was a wonderful, kind, loving person. She was generous and always welcomed visitors in her home. She will always be remembered as being a good mother and wife by her family. Friends will miss her quick laughter.
Rocio was born in Mexico. She moved to the Hill City community in 1990 with her new husband and started her life. She will be missed so much by everyone who knew her.
Rocio was preceded in death by her mother and her daughter Yovana.
