Brittany Hawks Funk 30 of Mount Airy, NC was born in Surry County, NC to Marshall Hawks and Tammy Tate on August 14, 1994. She departed this life on December 23, 2024 in Mount Airy, NC and also her son that would have been named Bently Levi Funk they will always be together in Heaven. God makes no mistakes, we might understand now, but by and by God will give her love ones the understanding and comfort.
She was a graduate of North Surry High School. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend. Brittany will always remain in our hearts. She was always considered of others and always willing to help when she could. A beloved soul who touched many lives.
Like a bird singing in the rain, let grateful memories survive in time of sorrow her husband Levi Funk, one daughter Brooklyn Funk; son to be Bently Levi Funk; two step-children Jillian Funk and Neveah VanHoy, grandparent’s David & Brenda Tate of Mount Airy, NC; Terri Gooden of Woodlawn, VA’; two sisters Jasmine Brooks (Seth) of Mount Airy, NC and Payton Hawks of Mount Airy, NC; two aunts Zettie Gwyn and Catina Gwyn, with a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two uncles Steven Hawks and Billy Hawks.
