Our Mission & Vision

Our Mission
A world where every woman survives pregnancy and childbirth, and where the stories of those we have lost help protect those who come after them.
Our Vision
Where every woman’s life is treated like it matters — because it does.
We envision a future where remembrance leads to reform.
Where maternal death is no longer dismissed as ‘tragic but rare.’
Where data reflects the truth and outrage leads to action.
Where maternal mortality becomes what it should have been all along:
preventable and unacceptable.
What We Do
We Remember Her
Because every woman who dies from pregnancy / childbirth / postpartum complications deserves more than becoming a nameless statistic. We say her name. We publish her photo. We refuse to let her be forgotten.
We Learn From Her
Behind every maternal death is data worth understanding and a story worth examining. We support research, education, and evidence-based efforts that help uncover why women are still dying and what can be done to change it.
We Change What Comes Next
Because remembrance and understanding must ultimately lead to action. We work to increase awareness, inform conversations, and support efforts that make pregnancy and childbirth safer for every woman.
Numbers won't remember them. But we will.
