Sybil Elizabeth Smith McFall, 37, of Atlanta, Georgia, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at Emory University Hospital-Midtown, Atlanta.
She was born in Syracuse, New York, and was a 1991 graduate of C.W. Baker High School, Baldwinsville, NY. Sybil received her BA degree from the College of Wooster, Wooster, Ohio, and her MFA degree in fabric arts from the University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia. As an artist, she enjoyed designing and making quilts, embroidery and knitting.
She is survived by her husband, Joe; son, Jack; parents, Philip Smith of Augusta, GA, and Madalyn Smith of Syracuse, NY; and brother, Gavin Smith of Brooklyn, NY.
