Her Story
Valery Arreola-Rodriguez, 21, along with her unborn child Emilio, passed away on Sunday, January 7 from injuries sustained from a car accident. Valery was born January 19, 1996, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Mary and Rafael Arreola. As the oldest with 3 sisters, Valery practiced her leadership skills that shaped her into the mature woman that we all grew to love. When challenges presented themselves she always acted as an excellent leader to the ones that looked up to her. In 2012 Valery gave birth to her first son, Maximilliano Arreola, at 16 years of age. Despite having a child at 16, Valery was not only a great mother but also earned her high school diploma. In 2014 her second child, Guillermo Arreola, was born. Valery worked tirelessly to provide for her children eventually acquiring a license to sell insurance.She not only loved working in this field, she was good at her job. Valery was an upbeat soul that always seemed to keep her chin up even when life was trying to push her down. She will continue to live in the memories of her family and friends. She will be missed dearly.
