Her Story
Jessica Marie DeChant, 30, of Lake in the Hills, died Friday, August 8, 2008, following her infant son Ryder, who died August 5, 2008 at Edward Hospital in Naperville due to complications of childbirth.
Jessica was born in Atlanta, GA on July 28, 1978 to Richard and JoAnn (Simon) Wiltz. She was a graduate of Crystal Lake South High School, and McHenry County College. She loved life, the outdoors, and was an avid Cubs fan. Jessica leaves us with her most precious treasure, her son Joseph Ryan to whom she was completely devoted.
Ryder was the beloved son of Dennis Johndrow, and Jessica, and little brother to Joe. He was also the beloved grandson of Dennis and Debbie Johndrow and Rich and JoAnn Wiltz.
He will be dearly missed by all including his aunts, uncles, cousins and great grandparents.
Jessica is survived by her son, Joseph Ryan DeChant; her parents, Rich and JoAnn Wiltz; her sisters, Melanie and Cassie Wiltz; her fiance, Dennis Johndrow; her grandmother, Erma Wiltz; aunts and uncles, Mike (Joy) Simon, Mary (Joseph) Santoro, Martin (Darnell) Wiltz, Galen (Jolene) Wiltz and Susan (Jeff) Allen; and many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death her grandparents, Leo Wiltz and Joseph and Frances Simon.
