Chandra Gale Chapman Callister, 39, passed away June 19, 2003 in Salt Lake City, of complications in childbirth.
Born April 24, 1964 in Price to Gale and Verna Chapman. Married DeeMar Callister Oct 10, 1991 in the Manti LDS Temple. Attended elementary schools in Kemmerer, WY and Huntington. Emery County High School graduate 1982. Attended CEU and graduated Snow College and SUSC. Taught English and drama at Du-schesne High School for two years. Teacher at the Delta Middle School for the past 15 years.
Loved her family, dogs, and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and camping. Active in and held various positions in LDS church. Loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and teacher. Thought teaching was a labor of love and referred to her students as her kids.
Chandra is survived by husband, DeeMar Callister; son, DeeJay; daughter, Chaliece Gale, Delta; parents, Gale and Verna Chapman, Leamington; brother, Gregg (Denise) Chapman, Huntington; sisters, Mary Sue (Gary) Dutson, Lynndyl, Danette (Rick) Houston, Leamington; grandmother, Lenore Chapman, Price; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by three infant brothers.
