Her Story
Amanda Michelle (Dawson) Lewis died October 8, 2014 and went to be with her Lord after being a Christian mom, wife, sister, daughter and good friend. She had complications from childbirth.
Amanda was born on August 10th, 1983 to James and Vicki Dawson in AL, and siblings were Jeremy, Jamie, Britainy and Zach. At age four she acquired a stepfather, Harold Shay and siblings Emily and April. She moved to WI at age 18 to be with her sister Jaime’s family. Jaime is married to Tommy Vang and children are Jacob, Kaleb, Noah and Ethan.
She met her husband David Lewis of Mosinee on Cupic.com, an online dating site in 2004. They met in person for the first time at Wausau Area Christian Fellowship, which they discovered was just down the street from her sister’s home. They married October 20th, 2007 on a beautiful fall day at Stewart Park in Wausau.
They had Benji (Benjamin) on March 12, 2010, Atari on September 29, 2011 and she was an exceptional mommy. She gave life to Daphni Laine on Sunday morning October 5th.
She was a sister-in-law to Laura (Lewis) Geisendorfer, who also died unexpectedly on September 22nd at age 32. Amanda was a great support person to the Lewis family during that time.
