Sharon ‘Sherry’ Marie Hallagan, 38 of 1946 Brown Deer Road, Coralville died Wednesday, January 30, 2008, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics from complications of giving birth to her first child, Heather.
Sharon Marie Hallagan was born July 31, 1969, in Oak Park, Illinois the daughter of Kevin J. and Annette H. (Kiddoo) Hallagan.
Sherry graduated from Mother McAuley High School in 1987 in Chicago and then received a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois in 1991. She was united in marriage on April 27, 1996 to Michael Pellizzari at St. Patricks Church in Lake Forest, Illinois.
Sherry was a Trust Officer at Harris Bank in Chicago before moving with her husband to Coralville in 2003. She was a member of St. Thomas More Parish, University Club and the Gourmet Group. She enjoyed exercising, decorating, was a vibrant, spirited young woman with a great sense of humor.
Her family includes her husband, Michael Pellizzari; daughter, Heather Marie Pellizzari; parents, Kevin and Annette Hallagan of Lake Forest, Illinois; mother-in-law, Blanche Pellizzari of Palos Heights, Illinois; sisters, Anne Marie Vasil and her husband David of Palos Heights, Illinois, Patricia Falimirski and her husband Mark of Carmel, Indiana, Mary Jo Jenkins and her husband Joseph and Theresa King and her husband Kevin all of Oak Forest, Illinois, Meghan Watts and her husband Tim of Arlington Heights, Illinois; thirty-one nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Barbara Burkhart and her husband David of Aurora, Illinois, Mary Ann Pellicore and her husband Martin of Palos Heights, Illinois; brothers-in-law, David Pellizzari and his wife Amy of Riverside, Illinois and Peter Pellizzari and his wife Pamela of Cary, Illinois.
