Her Story
Crystal earned her M.A. in educational studies with a focus in counseling at Loyola Marymount University in 2016, and she earned her B.S. in sports and health sciences at American Military University in Virginia. Prior to joining the LMU staff in 2012, she worked in the automotive industry and in the U.S. Army. She also volunteered at local community colleges to support veteran students, lead workshops, and provide general counseling.
Crystal Wilhite passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from complications related to premature labor from a surrogacy pregnancy. She left behind her husband, Aaron; their two sons; her parents; siblings and many other loved ones.
