Her Story
Shannon McCoy (Shan) entered her fathers house on December 12, 2015. Shan was born in Houston, Texas on July 30, 1969. She was the third child and only daughter of Jacquelyn and Herman Miles, Sr. She graduated from Jack Yates Sr. High School and was a graduate of Texas Southern University.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jacquelyn P. Miles; her brothers, Herman Miles Jr. and Christopher Miles; her grandfather Freddie Key and her daughter Madison McCoy.
She leaves behind her husband: Andre McCoy, father: Herman Miles, Sr; stepdaughter: Justice McCoy; grandmother: Jesse Patten Key and a host of aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
