April Sheatz Martinez, 35 of Pittsburgh, formerly of Kossuth passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the Magee Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh after giving birth to her son.
Born March 8, 1984 in Clarion, she was the daughter of Scott and Elaine Sheatz of Cranberry.
April graduated from Keystone High School in Knox. She graduated from Clarion University and went on to receive her master’s degree at the Robert Morris University. She was a member of the Delta Zeta and graduated Summa Cum Laude. April was currently working as the human resource director at the J.V. Manufacturing in Natrona Heights.
April married Orlando Martinez who survives.
April enjoyed coming home to the country to visit her family and friends. She liked to travel with her husband and mother and going out to dinner with friends and she loved to go hunting and fishing with her dad and husband.
Along with her husband and parents April is survived by her son Luca Martinez, a brother Hunter Sheatz of Cranberry, her grandmothers Helen Sheatz of Knox and Marcia Runyan of Clarion and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
April was preceded in death by her grandfathers Harry Sheatz and James Runyan and cousins Rainey and Jermiah Sheatz.
