    Her Story

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Elizabeth Diana Van Gesen Roberts passed away on October 20, 2012, due to complications from childbirth, surrounded by family and friends. She was born on October 3, 1978 in Grand Junction, CO to Daniel and Paula Van Gesen.

Growing up she was a gifted singer and musician and spent time developing and blessing others with those talents. She was a bright young woman and spent 2 years pursuing a college degree at Northern Arizona University.

She was a very faithful woman. At the age of 21 she served the Lord by preaching His word as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Little Rock, Arkansas. Soon after, on June 15, 2002, she married her best friend, Michael Steven Roberts, in the Snowflake Arizona Temple. She was a very smart and ambitious woman and spent many years building her career with UPS in Salt Lake City, UT.

Together Elizabeth and Michael built their home and family in Eagle Mountain, UT. They welcomed two daughters into the world, Abigail Rachael and Lilyanne Elizabeth. Her children were everything to her. She loved them more than life itself.

Liz was the best wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend anyone could have known. She leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, and dedication to her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Van Gesen. She is survived by her husband, Michael Roberts; daughters, Abigail Rachael (3) and Lilyanne Elizabeth (1 week); mother, Paula Van Gesen; and siblings, Daniel Van Gesen and Amanda Bailey.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]

    Her Story

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Haley Elizabeth Ilgenfritz, Artistic Director and acting-President of the Board of Directors of burgeoning theatre group Dormant Phoenix, beloved wife of Jason Ilgenfritz, Executive Director of same, succumbed to a battle with post-partum depression June 5, 2012.

Of great importance to her has always been the issues surrounding mental health and the stigma attached to them often preventing those who suffer from a disease she knew to be every bit as serious and wasting as Leukemia and HIV from receiving the treatment that could save their life.

She will be desperately missed by her three children, Lyx Ilgenfritz (9), Jackson Ilgenfritz (7), and Briar Ilgenfritz (4 mos.); as well as extended family that helped her to celebrate life. Her children, husband, and friends will always remember her as warm and vibrant, the light to any room; proof that love outlasts death.

Haley was born May 17, 1988, to Carl Nowoczynski and Colleen August Nowoczynski. She has four brothers, Paul, Steve, Dustin and Jacob Nowoczynski; and two sisters, Chrissy Ann and Sadie Nowoczynski.

Haley was preceded into the next life by her grandfathers, Gregory August, Sr. and Alois Nowoczynski; and her grandmother, Donna Lee Grimm.

Haley studied theatre at Edinboro University and then on her own. Her talent and beauty were exceeded only by her exceptional skill as a parent.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]
