Her Story
Debra Kay (Casillas) Gamwell, 35, of Bartlesville, went to rest peacefully as Godís child in her eternal home and new, perfect body on October 31, 2013 after a long fight with complications from childbirth.
She was born in Tulsa, OK to Lisa Leigh Casillas on August 10, 1978. Debra attended Union High School. She married Daniel Gamwell on May 12, 2007 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Debra lived a vibrant and active life surrounded by family and friends to whom she showed immeasurable love. She was a wonderful mother, wife, and an inspiration to many, encouraging others through exercise, yoga, gardening, cooking and art. Debra was a member of Humble Road Church.
Debra is survived by her husband, Daniel and children, Esme, 6, and Ella, 17 months; sister, Jennifer Kuykendall and grandmother Wanda Jones of Tulsa, along with a host of other family members and friends.
Debra was preceded in death by her mother, Lisa Casillas.
