Ivy Nicole Cannon Gernhard, 33, of Middleburg, FL passed away Monday, December 5, 2016. She was born February 23, 1983 in Jacksonville, FL to Paul Keister Cannon, Jr. and Theresa Gibson Cannon.
She graduated from Paxon School for Advanced Studies in 2001 and went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts, Elementary Education in 2005 and a Master of Arts, Educational Leadership in 2011 from the University of North Florida. For the past eleven years, she was a third grade teacher for Clay County Schools at Lakeside Elementary and Clay Hill Elementary.
Ivy loved photography, especially capturing the precious moments of her 6-month-old twins. In addition to her parents, Ivy is survived by her husband, David Corey Gernhard; son, Mason David Gernhard; daughter, Ella Nicole Gernhard; and brothers, Trey (Nikkole) Cannon and Sean Cannon. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Paul and Lucile Cannon, and Harold and Stella Gibson.
