Jessica Andrews, 20, passed away at her home in Fort Carson, Colo., April 16, 2006. She was born Easter Sunday, March 30, 1986 to Michael and Monika Zimmerman.
Jessica was a wife and soon-to-be mother. She married Ross Andrews before his deployment to Iraq in service to the U.S. Army, where he was at the time of her passing. Ross and Jessica were expecting their baby girl in June. Baby Alyssa Hope passed away with her mother.
Jessica leaves her husband, Ross; her father, Michael Zimmerman, currently stationed at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo.; her aunt, Nursim Zimmerman; her mother, Monika Zimmerman residing in Zweibrucken, Germany; grandparents, “Oma” and “Opa,” Helga and Walter Seegmuller, Jessica was their “Little Star”; sister Sara; uncle Helmut Thomas; aunt Roswitha Thomas; aunt Regina Thomas, Jurgen Schieve, and cousin Meico.
Jessica also leaves behind her loving grandparents, Lon and Luanne Zimmerman of Oak Harbor; her aunt Kristy and uncle Dan Pelle, Spokane; uncle Jerry Zimmerman, Port Angeles; and cousins Same and Ben Pelle, and Leanna and Lynnea Zimmerman.
Jessica was a bright and happy child, loved life, her family, friends, her country, and was a beautiful person inside and out.
