    Her Story

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]On April 29th 2019, Lauren Louise Accurso was carried into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ while giving birth to her baby boy. She was a native of St. Augustine born August 15, 1981 to Steve and Louise Brown.

She was a graduate of SAHS and graduated with honors from FSU. She married her high school sweet heart, Matthew Accurso, in 2004 and together have four beautiful children. Lauren was an accomplished entrepreneur as the founder of Cre8 Design. Her mission was to help bring order out of chaos in people’s homes and hearts.

She willingly laid this aside to pursue what she considered to be her calling in life … a wife and mother. Her faith touched every aspect of her life. The people who loved her most would describe her as loyal, compassionate, eclectically creative, deep thinker, full of wisdom, joyous, fun loving, and full of grace.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Matthew Accurso, daughters, Ali Rose (8), Naomi Belle (5), Layne Louise (2), and her son, Matthew Loren (newborn), parents, Steve and Louise Brown, mother-in-law, Peggy Accurso, grandmother, Billie Brown (BeBe), brothers, Chris Brown and Keith (Toree) Brown, six nieces, and multiple uncles, aunts, and cousins.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]

    Her Story

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Angela Wilburn was the first member of her family to graduate from high school. She was 28 years old and pregnant with her 8th and 9th babies at the time. Her nine children were born in 11 years.

At more than 41 weeks’ gestation, her labor was induced with pitocin and artificial rupture of membranes. With her doula at her side, she labored easily with light contractions for about 2 hours and dilated quickly in about half an hour.

Her son Rodney was soon born, weighing 6 pounds, 10 ounces. Before her second son was born, his amniotic sac broke, prolapsing his umbilical cord. The doctor called for a cesarean, and 7 minutes later, Randle was born, weighing 7 pounds 13 ounces.

Angela, however, bled profusely from the surgery, and a hysterectomy was performed to try to save her life. A Jehovah’s Witness, she refused a blood transfusion and died August 10, 2005, in Coon Rapids, Minnesota.

Her estranged husband is in prison. Angela’s grandparents are raising eight of her nine children.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]
