    Her Story

    [/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]

Sara Elaine Tipton, 26, and her soon to be born daughter Maisie, passed away unexpectedly from pregnancy complications on Friday, April 3, 2026, at her home in Concord.

Sara was born August 10, 1999, in New York to Ted Lubeck and Kim Kologe. She spent her early years in Binghamton, NY, where she made many lifelong friends who shared her passion of horseback riding. Always an animal lover, she rescued her pup Willow before moving to North Carolina.

Sara was a devoted mother to son Jax, who entered Kindergarten this year. She made Jax her top priority and was dedicated to creating a loving and nurturing childhood that would set him up for a lifetime of happiness.

Sara became friends with her husband Daniel as a teenager and through the last decade their relationship grew despite the long distance. Daniel relocated from Upstate NY to Concord in 2023 and the pair were wed in September 2023. Sara created a home with her best friend and love Daniel, where growing things could flourish surrounded by games and music. She enjoyed playing puzzle games online with her Nana, Nancy. Sara, Daniel, and Jax were excitedly looking forward to the birth of Maisie in May.

Sara is survived by her father Ted Lubeck, husband Daniel James Tipton, son Jax Lubeck, her grandmother Nancy Spigarelli Kologe, and in-laws Dan and Meredith, Heather and Ron. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She will be missed by her many friends around the country, as well as her canine companion Willow.

Sara was preceded in death by mother, Kim Kologe. Sara and Maisie are gone far too soon, and are deeply missed. Sara loved sunflowers – think of her when you see them. And when a bunny crosses your path remember Maisie.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]

    Her Story

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Tanajwa Ayesha McMurray, age 31, life was taken from her on October 11th, 2021 in her home in Fayetteville, NC. Tanajwa was a 911 dispatcher for the community who had just recently moved back to Fayetteville to be closer to family a little over a year ago.

Tanajwa was born September 20th, 1990 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to parents Tasha McMurray and Corey McMurray. When she was 5, the family moved to Germany where they stayed for 3 years. Their next move as a family was Fayetteville, NC.

Tanajwa graduated from Westover High School, and then later attended Elizabeth City State University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. While in college she was a part of a sorority the Omega Essence which she was completely dedicated. She truly enjoyed being an Omega Essence.

Once she graduated, she became a correctional officer where she worked for over 4 years. She ultimately became a sergeant after all her hard work and commitment. She eventually decided to move back to Fayetteville to be closer to family and started a new job as a 911 dispatcher for Cumberland County.

Tanajwa leaves behind her daughter Ay’rah Roberson. Her parents Tasha McMurray and Corey McMurray (Shondra McMurray). Her siblings Calisha McMurray, Jacole McMurray, T’yanna McMurray, Cori McMurray. Her godsister Jayla Hamilton. One of her first cousins Akribah Cook. Her nephews Jah’air Maynor and Kha’zah McMurray. Her niece D’Yani Warren. Her aunts Lakia Wilson, Valerie Barrett, Takeya Barrett, and Shavonna McMurray. Her uncles Leonard McMurray, Hassan Cook, and Antoine Williams. She also leaves behind a large family and plenty of friends who all loved her dearly.

Tanajwa was a very happy person who was always the life of the party. She was very intelligent and artistic. She always excelled in school and learned how to draw from her father. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She spent a lot of time in front of the camera and was very photogenic. Tanajwa was very social, and people loved being around her. She loved her niece and nephews with a passion, and they often brightened up her day.

Most importantly, she loved being a mother. Nothing meant more to her than her daughter. She will truly be missed and we hope peace has found her.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]

    Her Story

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Jenna and Ethen were taken from us June 14, 2007 in a senseless act of violence. Jenna was born March 6, 1985 in Glendale, CA.

She was a beautiful child who grew into an amazing and wonderful woman. The room just lit up when Jenna came into it. People were drawn to her because she always had a smile on her face. She was a talented pianist, dancer and singer. She enjoyed puzzles and could perform some of the most difficult compositions effortlessly.

She married Timothy James Nielsen Feb. 15, 2003 in Layton, Utah. Her world revolved around her family. She loved being a mother and could make the boys laugh so easily. It was wonderful to watch her play with them. Our family was looking forward to Ethen’s birth in July. We will never get to know him or hold him in our arms. The world will be a darker place without the two of them in it.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy; two sons: Schyler, 3; Kaiden, 11 months, of Fuquay-Varina, NC; mother, Lorann Blaine, St. George; father, Kevin Blaine and wife, Staci; brothers: Jason Kubota and Chris Blaine; sister, Sharlee Kubota, all of Holly Springs, NC; father and mother-in-law, Kim and Debbie Nielsen, Layton, Utah.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]
