    Her Story

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]With unfathomable sorrow, Lori & Phil Howard and Michelle & Rodney Pillsbury share the loss of their dear daughter, Margaret Ellyson Pillsbury, on February 20, 2023. Ellyson experienced a catastrophic internal bleed from an ectopic pregnancy three (3) days prior. She was fighting to recover from her injuries when she suffered a massive cerebral herniation Sunday afternoon. Ellyson was an organ donor, and it is uplifting to know that her passing has given life to others and that is exactly what Ellyson would have wanted.

Ellyson was born in Greenville, South Carolina in 1993, and graduated from Greenville High School in 2011. She overcame many struggles and was preparing for what she believed was her most important role being a good mother. She loved music and was an incredibly talented artist who championed the spirit of life she loved animals and she loved nature. Her soft and kind spirit cannot be replaced.

Ellyson leaves behind Phil & Lori (mother) Howard, Michelle & Rodney (father) Pillsbury, Claire Pillsbury (sister), and step-siblings, Sarah Howard, Chris Howard, Sarah Pillsbury, and Stone Pillsbury. She also leaves her loving fianc, Kris Johnsen of Liberty, South Carolina. The depth of her absence cannot be quantified, but her spirit will always live on in the trees and flowers freshly blooming every spring, and with the snow gently falling every winter.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]

    Her Story

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Lauren Elizabeth (Norberg) Coleman, 35, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away along with her unborn baby girl Lennon Grace on Saturday, March 11, 2023. Born on October 5, 1987, in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of Coleen Norberg (Van Dyke) and the late Peter Norberg.

She is preceded in death by Peter Norberg (father) and survived by Matthew Coleman (husband), Coleen Norberg (mother), Derek Norberg (brother), Kelsey Dano (twin sister), and her and Matthew’s two dogs, Wesley and Chester.

Lauren was raised in the small town of Middleburgh, NY, located in the Schoharie Valley. From her early years, Lauren brought light, love, and laughter into every room. She graduated high school with top honors and was an athletic all-star in multiple sports. Lauren attended SUNY Cortland where she excelled academically but more importantly continued to bring light into the lives of those around her.

Lauren had an unmatched ability to always see the beauty in life, and she shared that vision with everyone she met. Whether in her small hometown or soaking up the sun of the south in Charleston, SC, and surrounding areas, Lauren’s heart was too big to keep to herself.

She dedicated her life to teaching elementary school children and developing the next generation through love and care. Never losing her love of sports, she was an accomplished athlete, winning multiple championships in both Charleston Sports & Social Club and Holy City Kickball.

Lauren’s light was made even stronger by motherhood; some comfort lies in the fact that she can embrace her two babies in the afterlife.

Lauren’s brightness will continue to shine through the lives of the children she taught, her teammates, friends, and loved ones. In this sad time, Lauren wouldn’t want anyone to stay in the shadows of sadness-but to remember that each of us can bring light to the dark.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]

    Her Story

    [/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]

Rachel Elizabeth Horton Kelly, 25, beloved and adored wife to Lee Lee Kelly and mother of 4 month old Talon, lost her battle with postpartum depression on 4/7/25. We are all devastated.

She is survived by her parents, Roger and Kay (Edgerton) Horton; grandmother, Betsy Edgerton; grandfather, Donald Horton; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Jack Edgerton; paternal grandmother, Kay Lamon; and cousin, Conner Ellis. She is surely in their loving arms right now, which brings us all peace.

She was a cherished daughter and granddaughter, a loving mother and wife, a creative artist and a beautiful soul. She will be missed dearly by all of us who loved her, and especially her new little family that had just begun their next chapter together. We will never forget our precious Rachel or be the same again.

We choose to celebrate her life and the gift that she was to us on this Earth and know that we will reunite in Heaven together for eternity. We love you Rachel, forever and always. We lean on each other during this time to absorb this tremendous loss.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]
