Victoria ‘Tori’ Langford Hope

Victoria “Tori” Hope, age 26, of Shelton, CT, entered into rest in her home while giving birth to triplets. She was born in New Haven, CT, beloved daughter of William F. and Frances Carrick Hope, and has been a lifelong Shelton resident.
She was educated in the Shelton School System and graduated with the Shelton High School Class of 2001. While in High School, she was a member of the drama club and played the xylophone in the Shelton High Marching Band since 8th grade. Tori attended Housatonic Community College and Southern CT State University. She was currently employed at Panolam in Shelton working in the Customer Service Department.
She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, playing softball in the summer league, decorating for the holidays, and organizing family Easter Egg Hunts. She was handy around the house and was very mechanical when it came to fixing cars. All who knew Tori will remember her for her big heart and smile.
She was the devoted mother of Devin James Hope and Gabriella Rose Hope; the loving companion of Ricky Miller, Jr.; and the loving sister of Michael Hope and his wife Karin. She was the aunt of Aidan Hope and Maggie Hope, who was also her goddaughters. She also leaves her godmother, Margaret McGrath and her husband Gerald, her godfather, John D. Pool, her great aunt, Josephine Poole, and many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by an infant brother, Christopher Hope, her maternal grandparents, George and Helen Carrick, and her paternal grandparents, Raymond and Mary Hope.
