Denise Halsey Moore, 39, of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 23, 2016 in her home. Denise was born June 21, 1977 to William and Judy (Bearrows) Halsey.
Denise was a graduate of Rochelle Township High School Class of 1995 located in Rochelle, IL. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University and received her Master’s degree from North Carolina State University. She was a National Board Certified teacher, most recently teaching at Banks Road Elementary School.
Denise is preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur and Grace Halsey and Clyde Bearrows of Rochelle, IL.
She is survived by her loving husband, Levi Moore; her parents; sister, Dawn (Brian Swayney) of Holly Springs, NC; her grandmother, Rita Bearrows of Rochelle, IL; in-laws, Randy and Brenda Moore of Crossville, TN; and her niece, Sara Swayney. She takes with her their unborn children, Lucas Kenneth and Addison Clara.
