Who She Was

Her Story

In the year of our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Ninety Two, Ellishea Robers and Bobby Titsworth, Jr., welcomed a newborn, baby girl into the world. They named her Blake Lynn Chantrell Titsworth.

At the tender age of four, she was baptized at Evangelist Temple Baptist Church, under the loving guidance and influence of her dear grandmother, the late Jamesetta Russell. She would travel the world with her “Granny,” attending church conventions and professing her love for the Lord. Later in life, she became a member of Divine Love Christian Fellowship.

Blake grew up in Muskogee, where she attended Muskogee Public Schools, first at Whittier Elementary, then on the Alice Robertson 7th & 8th Grade Center and ultimately Muskogee Senior High School, where she graduated with the Class of 2011.

She began working at the age of 14, because she liked her “own” money and was a very independent young woman. She began with her first job at McDonald’s Restaurant for 4 years before she ventured out to find different vocations. She worked as a home health care provider at Elite Care in Tulsa at the time of her passing. Blake had a very out-going personality and a smile that would charm the world. She never met a stranger and if she cared for you, she was there for you until her last breath was taken.

On August 11, 2013, she gave birth to her first born child, Orlaisha Green. She was the love of her life. Orlaisha is full of life and very curious, just as her mother was as a child. Blake was often told that she was getting her “payback.” Their love was so cute, out of the clear blue, “Lai Lai”, as Orlaisha is called, would often say “Momma, I love you” and shower her with kisses. Blake gave birth to the boy that we all wanted on October 2, 2016 and named him Orlando Green, Jr.

In the year of our Lord, Two-Thousand, Sixteen, God, in HIS most infinite wisdom saw fit to take from this world, our beloved Blake Lynn Chantrell Titsworth, after 23 years with us. Those that went to Glory before her; her grandmother, Jamesetta Russell, her Aunt, Marjorie Byrd, Her Uncle, Roderick Roberts, her grandmother, Mary Titsworth and her grandfather, Bobby Titsworth, Sr.

She leaves to lament her passing; her mother, Ellishea Robers [Reuben] Ballard; her father, Bobby Titsworth, Jr.; two sisters, Candace Roberts and Teacona Spencer; her Uncles, Charles Roberts, Desi Roberts, Stephano Wartson, Robert Wartson, Rodney Titsworth, and Aundray Titsworth; Special Aunts, Claudia Basham, Karen Grayson, Vera Bagsby, Maraeka Culbreath; a very special friend and the father of her children, Orlando Green, Sr., and his parents, Floyd and Stella McCoy; special friends and cousins, Shonquill Grayson, Breann Harris, Veronica Allen and Braylin Lyons; along with a caravan of other relatives and friends.
