Her Story
Christine B. “Christy” Dermer, age 28, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 3, 2007, at the University of Michigan Hospital surrounded by her loving family after having complications from giving birth to her pride and joy, Olivia Claire. She was born on July 19, 1979, to Jack and Robin (Ritson) Dermer in Toledo.
Christy worked as a dental assistant. She always looked forward to becoming a mother and loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends. Christy will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ronald Dermer.
Christy is survived by her beautiful infant daughter, Olivia Claire Dermer; mother, Robin (Don Cowen) Dermer; father, Jack (Jan) Dermer; sister, Sarah (Rob) Auger; loving companion, Todd Brinkman; nieces, Stephanie, Kelsey and Makenna Auger; maternal grandparents, William and Evelyn Ritson; paternal grandmother, Alice Dermer and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
