Her Story
Kerry Elizabeth Hambleton, 27, a resident of Annapolis for 16 years and previously of Springfield, VA, died July 26 in Provo, UT during open heart surgery from complications after giving birth to premature twins.
She was born Sept. 14, 1983, in Fairfax, VA, and graduated from high school in Spanish Fork, UT. She was a certified scuba diver and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Annapolis. She loved the ocean and animals, and especially loved to care for dogs in need.
She was preceded in death by her twin sons, Kai Hambleton Haddock and Krash Hambleton Haddock, who died July 17.
She is survived by her husband, Joel Ryan Haddock, whom she married May 24; sister, Maureen Kildahl Hambleton of Kerrville, TX; parents, Robert Curtis Hambleton and Ellen Kildahl Hambleton of Edgewater; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
