Her Story
Michelle M. (Carter) Buckley died on May 2, 2014, at The MotherBaby Center in Minneapolis, Minn., from a rare complication of childbirth called amniotic embolism. Her baby, Frieda Michelle, was born unharmed.
Michelle is survived by her husband, Christopher, and their two children: Leif, age 4 and baby Frieda. Her parents are Stephen and Monica Carter of Peshtigo. She has two sisters: Mariel Carter (Karl Jaeger) of Peshtigo and Andrea Carter living in Austin, Texas. Christopher’s parents are Barb (Bill) Howard of Minneapolis, Minn. and Terry Buckley of Dallas, Texas. Christopher has two sisters: Alyssa of Winona, Minn. and Shannon of New York, NY. There are three nieces and one nephew; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and family friends.
Michelle was a terrific mom. She was well loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
