Her Story
Edith “Ashley” Ritchie, 37, and her unborn baby girl, Everly Ruth Richardson, passed away suddenly on December 28, 2024.
They were preceded in death by Ashley’s great-grandparents Charlie and Retha Booker, grandparents Ruth Richardson, Ed and Edith Ritchie, Billy Nations (Papa), Uncle Pat Booker, and Aunt Becky Ritchie.
Ashley is survived by her fiancé Joseph Richardson and step-son Mason of Burlington, Wyoming; her children Jayden Rassmussen, Kaydence and Paisley Gunter, and stepdaughter Kara Gunter of Darrington, WA; her mother Jennifer (Eddy) Ritchie, sister Chelsie Sullivan, brother David Ritchie, and grandmother Nellie Coggins of Chewelah, WA, and her father James (Teresa) Ritchie of Statesville, NC.
She is also survived by two step-brothers Michael (Gabriela) Lay of Stanwood and Billy Blevins of Statesville, NC, as well as her step-sister, Eden Short.
