    Her Story

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Leslie Joy Evans joined her Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 7, 2010. She was born on March 23, 1982 to parents, Joy and Alan Bond.

Leslie grew up in Yukon, Oklahoma and graduated from Yukon High School in 2000 and from Southern Nazarene University in 2004 with degrees in psychology and music. Leslie was very involved in music and had a beautiful voice which she shared with others by singing in her church choirs and at weddings.

In March of 2008, Leslie met Mark Evans which began a beautiful romance. On June 6, 2009, the two married and Leslie joined Mark’s family as mother to his three children, Marli, Marcus, and Manning. They had a beautiful ceremony where they also recognized Melinda, Mark’s wife who had passed away two years earlier.

In May 2010, Leslie and Mark were thrilled to learn that she was pregnant and that excitement doubled when they discovered she was expecting twins. Marisa Bond and Mac Brodey were born on September 26, 2010 and were immediately welcomed into heaven. Though the twins spent very little time on earth, they brought much joy to the entire family, especially to Leslie and Mark.

To her parents, Leslie was their little princess. To her brother, Jay, Leslie was his fearless little sister with a head of blond curls. To her husband, Mark, she was beauty, love and joy. To Mark’s children, Leslie was the maternal touch they had been missing and a new song in their hearts. To her in-laws, Leslie was a welcome addition to the family. To Melinda’s family, she was a graceful being who fit perfectly in their lives.

Leslie was so many things to so many people, but all can agree on one thing; Leslie was easy to love. Her beautiful smile played a part but the fact is; Leslie exuded love. She loved her family with every moment. She loved her friends with every listening ear she lent. She loved music with every note she hummed. She loved animals with an amazing level of compassion. She loved children with every lesson she taught. She loved sports, especially OU football, with every cheer that escaped her lips. She loved fun with every playful comment and feisty act. And most importantly, she loved the Lord with her life-song.

Leslie was easy to love, Leslie exuded love, and to all those who miss her presence on earth, Leslie was love. We thank God for the precious gift of Leslie and rejoice in the knowledge that she is now singing praises to Him in heaven.

Leslie is survived by her husband, Mark of the home; her parents, Alan and Joy Bond of Yukon, Oklahoma; two sons, Marcus Brian Evans and Manning Bryce Evans of the home; one daughter, Marli Grace Evans of the home; one brother, Jay Bond of Oklahoma City and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

Leslie was preceded in death by her two children, Marisa Bond Evans and Mac Brodey Evans, her maternal grandparents, Leslie and Mary Callies; her paternal grandparents, Hayden and Frankie Bond and one sister-in-law, Courtney Bond on June 24, 2010.

Marisa and Mac are survived by their father, Mark of the home; two brothers, Marcus Brian Evans and Manning Bryce Evans of the home; one sister, Marli Grace Evans of the home; maternal grandparents, Alan and Joy Bond of Yukon, Oklahoma; paternal grandparents, Gary and Sheila Evans of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and Henry and Julia Watters of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; their Uncle Jay Bond of Oklahoma City; their uncle and aunt, Jason and Becky Evans of Toledo, Ohio; and their two cousins, Alex and Aaron Evans also of Toledo, Ohio; and their uncle and aunt, Mike and Nikki Watters of Shawnee.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]

    Her Story

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Kaylee Q. Karam-Duarte, born August 11, 2000, in Toledo, Ohio, passed away on May 18, 2026, in the same city she called home. At just 25 years old, Kaylee’s vibrant spirit and loving heart left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her.

A graduate of Northview High School’s class of 2018, Kaylee was a dedicated and talented cosmetologist for eight years. Her career was more than just a job; it was a passion where she expressed creativity and care, qualities she infused into every relationship and endeavor. She was also a gifted artist who found joy and solace in music and crochet, always cherishing the moments spent with her beloved family.

Kaylee’s life was a testament to selflessness, generosity, and unwavering support. She was the epitome of love, whether as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, or granddaughter. The love of her life, Nathaniel, became her husband on October 21, 2023, marking the beginning of a beautiful journey they walked together. Motherhood was Kaylee’s proudest accomplishment, a role she embraced wholeheartedly. She was blessed to be the mother of two precious daughters: Brynlee, born February 2, 2025, and Bailee, born on May 17, 2026. Her dedication to her children and family was at the core of her identity, and her nurturing nature created a warm, loving home filled with kindness and care.

Kaylee’s personality was a shining light loving, caring, selfless, and thoughtful. She was the confidante and supporter who could always be counted on in times of need. Family was paramount to her, and her devotion extended to her parents Tiffany and Steven Karam, her sisters Sarah (Lucas) Sturt and Kylie (Riley) Kendall, her nephews Levi and Mason Sturt, niece Sadie Sturt, and her grandparents Shirley Karam and Harold Price. She was also cherished by her in-laws Carrie and Antonio Duarte and treasured her brother-in-law Anthony Duarte.

While we mourn the loss of Kaylee, we also honor her memory alongside the cherished memories of her late grandparents, Richard Karam and Evelyn Voulgaris, whose legacies live on in her heart and family.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]

    Her Story

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Michelle Meszaros, age 34, of Hudson, WI, passed away on December 4, 2024 after complications during child birth. Michelle was eagerly anticipating her new role as a mom, looking forward to the love and joy that her son Rainer would bring to her life. Her capacity for love extended even further as she made the selfless decision to be an organ donor, giving the gift of life to countless others.

Michelle was a force of nature, embracing life from day one with a larger-than-life personality that drew people to her. She was born on April 28, 1990 to parents Peggy and Michael Meszaros. She graduated from St. Croix Lutheran High School and went on to earn her associates degree from Northwood Tech and was recently enrolled at the College of St. Scholastica, diligently working towards her bachelor’s degree to become a social worker, with a special passion for helping children and young adults. She was most recently working for the State of Minnesota in Human Services. Her incredible compassion for others shone brightly in everything she did, reflecting her nurturing spirit and her unwavering commitment to uplifting those around her.

Michelle adored the extraordinary and had a flair for the dramatic, embracing the beauty of life in all its forms. She found joy in fishing, often losing track of time as she sat by the water. Her love for collecting rocks and crystals reflected her appreciation for nature’s wonders and her belief in the magic that exists in the unordinary. She was also a talented artist, who loved sketching and expressing herself through tattoos. Michelle reminded us all to appreciate the little wonders in life, always encouraging us to look beyond the surface and embrace our authentic selves.
