Her Story
ittany Ruth Oakley, 19, a resident of 200 Ridge Road, surrendered her life giving birth to her son, Andrew Ward Daulton on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Durham Regional Hospital.
A native of Hopewell, VA, the daughter of Sam and Bessie Oakley. She was a member of Creedmoor United Methodist Church and a student at Alamance Community College and employed by Jeff Dalton AC Systems.
Surviving other than her parents and son are birth-mother/sister, Stacy Hurley and husband, Matt of Butner, fiancee, Seth Daulton and his family: Jeff, Lynn, Lindsey, and Ilsa Daulton, all of Orange County. Also surviving are birth-father, Sterling Narron and two step-sisters, Vanessa and Tori of Virginia; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.
Brittany was an organ donor and enhanced the lives of 60 people.
