[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Carey Morishige-Martinez, 39, of Kaneohe, passed away during childbirth on Nov. 5, 2016.

She was Executive Director of the U.S. All Islands Coral Reef Committee Secretariat and also Pacific Islands Regional/Outreach Coordinator for the NOAA Marine Debris Program, including the UH Sea Grant College Program.

Carey is survived by her husband Jonathan Martinez, their new-born daughter, Mika; sister Nikki; and parents Wayne and Janie Morishige.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”profile-links-header”]
