Her Story
Chelsey Jo Bluhm, age 24, of Waterville, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013, at District One Hospital in Faribault. Born in Mankato, Minnesota, on July 2, 1988, Chelsey was the daughter of Justin and Tricia (Ruch) Bluhm.
Chelsey was baptized at the First Lutheran Church in Waldorf by Rev. Rusert on August 23, 1988, and was later confirmed at the same church on May 19, 2002, by Rev Mathews. Growing up, she attended school in Waterville and Waseca. She enjoyed music, reading, television, and creative writing.
Chelsey is survived by twin daughters, Alexis Ann and Madison Jade Smith; one son, Colten James Bluhm; her father, Justin Bluhm and his fiance Stacy Thompson of Mankato; her mother, Tricia (Cory) Dillon of Edgerton, WI; two sisters, Toni Bluhm of Edgerton, WI, and Brittany Buesgens of Waterville; two step-brothers, Jordan Allen of New Richland and Blaze Dillon of Edgerton, WI; her paternal grandmother, Diane Bluhm of Waldorf; her maternal grandparents, Richard and Darla Ruch of Pemberton; her maternal great-grandmother, Clarice Shaw of Pemberton; and several aunts and uncles.
Chelsey was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Barton Bluhm; maternal great grandparents, Marvin Shaw and Lillian Ruch; paternal great grandparents, Archie (Dorothy) Lortis.
